This paper has examined various
economic benefits gained by using various agricultural policies and practicing
certain activities. In Gujarat, agricultural analysis is primarily a
public-funded activity and also the personal sector participation is proscribed
to the input sector, together with seed, fertilizers and pesticides Uncertainty
in climate, un-conventional usage of fertilizers, soil degradation have caused
damage to the growth ratio of various crops compared to last few years.
Indian agriculture has undergone
many changes in terms of technology penetration and merchandise
diversification, remodeling it from a subsistence activity to an ad one in
several aspects. However, in recent years, the declining total issue
productivity growth, shrinking land and water resources, and global climate
change have started motility threats to its property and conjointly to the
national food and organic process security.
Gujarat has created scope of
transforming the traditional agriculture, through proper resource utilization
and management, to an environmentally friendly sustainable agriculture. The
basic goal of agricultural sector is to optimize yield with minimum input and
reduced environmental pollution is highly required for development and sustain the
challenge of sustainability.
In order to generate greater solutions
to the agricultural issues, there is a requirement to accelerate working and
develop better management policies within the sector. However, within the wake
of fixing R&D policies, personal sector participation is increasing in the
areas like biotechnology, hybrid seed, plant protection chemicals, farm machinery
and animal healthcare.
Some of the scenarios require that
new technologies be developed while others can be achieved through modification
in management policies or governmental procedures. All of these changes require
that economic benefits accrue to farmers to provide them with incentives for
using different technologies and beneficial methods, and for using them
effectively. Economic and scientific aid will be required from international agencies
as well as national governmental agencies in order to assure that any changes
made are sound, adapted to local conditions, and environmentally safe.
